Venue Hunting. Budget-friendly. Beautiful. Breath-taking.

After browsing wedding ideas on the internet, Jek and I’s first step is to find a venue.

We had a budget (PhP 20,000), a theme outdoor rustic-garden, and a common vision for the wedding. We started scouting for possible venues in June. What we did was browse through the internet and find possible venues there. We visited the short-listed ones. Here is one of them:

  1. Casa Manila Patio

Casa Manila Patio is located at Intramuros just in front of the San Agustin Church. Given its historical and Spanish period ambience, we wanted to give it a visit… and also renting the venue as beautiful as this costs only PhP 12,000 plus 10% of the catering contract.

Pros:

Proximity. Manila is the center of our guests who will be coming from Bulacan, Makati, Antipolo, QC and Manila Area.

Affordability. 12,000 plus 10% catering fee is definitely affordable considering that the venue is in the middle of Intramuros. Also, it would fall within our budget.

Spanish-garden. The Spanish-garden theme is also very nice to look at. It is very nostalgic and a bit magical.

Cons

Space. Though it is stated that the maximum capacity is 150 pax (our target guests), the place seems to be too small.

Aisle. For us, the walk to the altar is one of the highlights of the wedding, and given that there is a fountain in the middle of the place it would be difficult to create a perfect aisle.
